Financially protected — Protected Trust Services

Personally planned from the UK

Bespoke travel

Honest journeys, beautifully made.

Safari in Kenya and Tanzania, the beaches of the Indian Ocean, and doctor-led Ayurveda in Sri Lanka — planned personally by someone who grew up on that coast.

Your money

Every payment for your trip is held in a UK trust account through Protected Trust Services until you have travelled. Your money is protected, not just promised.

Your trip

Nzurie is the organiser of your holiday under the UK Package Travel Regulations. In plain terms: if something goes wrong, it is ours to put right — not yours to chase.

Your planner

One person plans your journey, from the first conversation to your last night away. You will always know exactly who you are speaking to — and you will have her number while you are travelling.

Four places we know properly.

We work in a small number of places rather than a long list, because the difference between a good trip and a memorable one is knowing the ground.

Also: the Maldives and Mauritius, usually as an extension.

Sri Lanka — Wellness

Ayurveda, honestly described.

Most operators sell a week of massages and call it Panchakarma. Genuine Panchakarma takes two to three weeks — so we sell it separately, at the length it actually needs, and we describe the shorter programmes as what they are.

Every programme is built with a registered Ayurvedic physician, begins with a consultation, and ends with guidance you can take home.

01 · 5 nights

Reset

A short restorative stay. Daily treatment, daily yoga, and time to stop. No clinical claims — just a proper pause.

02 · 7–10 nights

Ayurvedic Wellness Programme

Consultation with a registered physician, a personalised daily programme, prescribed treatments and herbal medicine. Our most-booked programme.

03 · 5–7 nights

Men’s Wellness

Built for men who want measurable change: recovery, sleep, resilience. Objective measurements on arrival and at departure, with training alongside treatment — not instead of it.

04 · 14–21 nights

Classical Panchakarma

The full classical programme, residential and physician-led, at the duration the treatment genuinely requires.

The Nzurie approach

Looked after, every step.

We will tell you when a lodge is not worth what it costs, when your dates are wrong for where you are going, and when the trip you have described will not do what you are hoping it will.

That occasionally costs us the booking. We would rather that than you finding out when you arrive.

Shabnam Rinth in Watamu, Kenya

Watamu, Kenya

The person planning your trip

I’m Shabnam Rinth.

I was born in Mombasa, spent twenty years in the British travel industry — Page & Moy, Hogg Robinson, Thomas Cook — and I still travel to Kenya most years to see family.

I started Nzurie to plan trips the way I would want my own planned: honestly, in detail, and by one person who answers the phone.

Every journey on this site is one I have put together myself.

Advice you can trust, journeys you’ll cherish.

Tell us roughly where, roughly when, and what you are hoping for. Shabnam will reply personally within two working days — or call, if you would rather talk it through.
